M#27 Lodema Harvey was born on 24 October 1855 in Harrison County. She was another Libra, like her descendant Donna Lenora. Lodema's parents were Basil T. Harvey and Catherine Haddox [or Haddix].

Lodema and James Lewis had only two children, so far as is known to this author:

M#26.1 Delphia Mandora Grooms- b 24 April, 1875, m 4 May, 1890 to James W. Davis, one son, M#6 Dallie A. Davis- b 12 March, 1891;

M#26.2 Daniel Elsworth Grooms- b 24 April, 1875, m 29 May, 1909 to Cora B. Baker, two daughters: M#26.2.1 Nellie Grooms- b 4 February, 1904, m 7 April, 1924 to Lydia Ernest Talkington, son of Sylvester Alvarez Talkington and Delphia Ice, no children; M#26.6.2 Belvy Grooms- b 15 December, 1915, m to Herman Lasure [spelling?], two sons: M#26.2.2.1 Arnold Lasure- b 4 September; M#26.2.2.2 Richard Lasure- b in April.

Lodema Harvey Grooms died 8 March 1907, and is interred in Hawker's [now Cunningham's] Cemetery just south of Joetown, which is south of Mannington, West Virginia.
